mynextdive got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Check out mynextdive's Logo design contest…
Design a killer logo for a Scuba Diving website inspired by Web 2.0 design trends, with influence from a few logos that we like from other scuba diving organizations.
My Next Dive
What's your vision?
Tagline: Scuba Trip Planning Desired Color Scheme: Blue/Green for water, Reds/Whites for Scuba Flag Colors (we're open to suggestion) Desired Style: Though it's a little flat for a Web 2.0 web site, we like the simplicity and composition of this logo: http://www.seaworldclub.com/images/logo.gif Though it's a little complicated for a website logo, we love the color scheme, shading and composition Accepted File Formats: JPG, PSD (300 DPI), AI This logo will be put on Business Cards, T-Shirts, Brochures and Stationary, so it needs to hold up and different sizes, and be versitile enough to look good in print and on the web. Also, we noticed that there's another competition running for "My Next Deal" - we're completely unrelated to them so it's just a coincidence that we're running a competition at the same time. While I know some people will be tempted to submit virtually identical designs to theirs, please bear in mind that we have different design requirements. To win this competion, you'll need to impress us with composition, color pallet, lighting/shading and overall theme. For theme, anything scuba/marine related is fine. We're open to ideas, so feel free to suprise us. Good luck everyone, -- Neil
