Dance Netwerk

Dance Netwerk is an online talent network for the dance community where dancers, choreographers, crews, and studios can upload videos, get inspired by the work of others, and connect at a national and local level. We are targeting the hip hop dance community.

"Werk" is a term used by hip hop dancers. We are unsure how we want to capitalize "Dance Netwerk." We have played around with the following but we are really interested in someone who can help us understand why one approach is better than another:

IMPORTANT REQUESTS:
-NO human forms (e.g. a hip hop dancer) in the logo. We are just really interested in a logo based on words.
-We need a horizontal logo; we cant have the words on a diagonal
-We really need a logo that can be flexible and take on different colors based on the campaign that we are running at the time. We like bright colors and metalics (not necessarily together). It should be young and fresh, cutting edge, and appealing to the MTV/America's Best Dance Crew crowd.
-I wouldn't mind 2 logos, one that has a the full word, and the a short version that just plays with the D and N.

Our target consumer is:
18-late 20's
Online
Watches a ton of dance videos on youtube
Loves to dance to all kinds of music, as long as it has a good beat
He/she is likely to use NIKE ID to design his/her own kicks
He/she wears sweat pants, and high tops
Diverse (different racial, ethnic, socio-economic, education backgrounds)
Inspired and inspiring
Supportive, and encouraging
Open minded and welcoming to all types of people; has a very diverse friend network
Likely to have a couple of piercings and maybe even a tattoo, but it is probably meaningful
Chill
Dedicated
Strong and athletic
