Logo types to explore
Something that looks great on a dark (black) and white background. Think carbon fiber, nice tasteful gradients. Thicker bolder fonts, but curved fonts not hard edges like "Impact" more like "calibri". It really doesnt matter what it is. Think outside the box, I don't want to set hard requirements for your creativity. Just think about video games. Game controllers, consoles, weapons, tanks, explosions, all things bad ass and fun. Think about video games you've played or heard about. Arcades, older consoles, anything. Think of things you find represents gaming and try and brand it with you're own unique style. Not looking for just a glyph or typography, I'd really like to see some character / mascot designs.Id like "Carbon Softworks" to be included in the design but I don't want it to be the center piece.I like designs that are simple, and clean but still dynamic. See the Red Rocket logo, its very simple, but has excellent color choices, and is busy enough to attract the eye but not distract from its overall aesthetic.I dont like shiny text. I like shiny but not too shiny, and especially not on text. I find its hard to read. Need to see on black and white background. You can white out the color image for the black background if the colors aren't working.
