Janet needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 97 designs submitted by 28 freelance designers.
I have started a translation company in Sweden, translating from Swedish to English. I need a simple logo that can be used for business cards, stationery, website, invoices, etc.
The company’s name is "InContext Translations." The logo must include the company's name, but doesn’t necessarily have to include a symbol.
If a symbol is included, it may simply refect “translation” itself OR the ultimate purpose of translating material into English (ie to market/export their products or services internationally) . Please read the brief.

If a symbol is included, it may simply refect “translation” itself OR the ultimate purpose of translating material into English (ie to market/export their products or services internationally).
Possible symbols:
• A modern, stylized globe (not mother earth with outlines of oceans and landmasses) - To indicate that companies need to translate material into English (to market/export their products or services internationally.
• Stylized canada goose. I love the one used by the now defunct Canadian Airlines, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Airlines. It is elegant and looks strong, reliable and goal-orientated. I happen to be from Canada too and it is to my advantage to refect this in my logo...
• Stylized migrating geese??
I hope these ideas won't stifle creativity. Please feel to come with designs that have absolutely nothing to do with globes or geese!
- company name
- simplicity, elegance
- vector fomat
- neon
