peter.walsh got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Seamap Australia website
Check out peter.walsh's Logo design contest…
Initiative to map the ocean seabed around the coast of Australia. Provides a sophisticated map for visualising seabed information. Goal is to make this information accessible to others in government, industry and research. Many government and research partners contributing data. Note: It's about sea floor coverage weeds, reef... not about animals/fish. Note: It's a website what is on the sea floor... not waves/water.
Aiming for minimal identity for website with strong underwater photo images providing context (aka. sea floor picks). Monochromatic might be best so we can super impose it on photos.

so sorry this review is so overdue. Just logged in to ask for modification and saw it was never done. The designer was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with and the design professional.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
