THE VENUE The “Sugar Shaker” is the adoptive name given to Holiday Inn Townsville due to it’s iconic shape, said to have been originally designed that way to reflect the importance of the sugar industry to the area. The Sugar Shaker Restaurant sits on the first floor of this unique CBD location THE FOOD Our chefs have come together to design a menu that offers “The familiar made interesting!” Thoughtfully presented in a simple yet elegant manner our food style is natural and uncomplicated, a mixture of unpretentious and social dishes that offer great value for money and that bring people together to share memorable moments THE SERVICE Caring, welcoming, warm and genuine service will put you and your family & friends at ease. This is a full rebrand incorporated in a well known iconic building. We would like designers to explore the idea of using the building itself in the logo or hint at its shape/design in the lettering/logo, but would also like to see ideas that do not use the building at all.
