Jacksonville Professional Photographers Group
The Professional Photographers Society of North Florida is changing our name to Jacksonville Professional Photographers Group. We are a group of pros that value creativity and community but place equal importance on helping our members reach their business goals.
We have photographers in our group that are recognized nationally as well as student members. The name change is an effort to make the group seem more approachable to new recruits. (We thought the word "society" seemed stuffy and old fashioned.) Plus JPPG pronounced out sounds like "jpeg"- kinda' catchy and fun, right?!
Words we use to describe our group include: elite, but approachable; professional, contemporary, creative and a community.
Our current color scheme is a burnt orange, dark blue and black. You can see our current website at http://www.ppsnf.org. The colors should remain the same since the website is new. (We'll be changing the domain to http://www.jppg.org) The main body of the logo should probably be in the burnt orange color family. Please don't use bright orange.
Having both .jpeg and layered .eps Vector files is important to us.
We're not looking for logos that have the state of Florida, camera shutters or anything predictable. We like "different", but it should still be very readable, clean and modern.
Thanks for considering this project!
