VotefortheBest.com will be a website where users will be able to vote for their favorite business, like CitySearch and Yelp.
All Internet users.
We are looking for a logo design that is simple, clean and creative. A a first draft of the logo can be viewed at http://www.voteforthebest.com. We like this logo, but want to take it to the next level. This logo can be used as inspiration, but we also welcome fresh, new ideas.
The logo should be red, white, and blue, since we want to have voting/patriotic undertones to the logo. The undertone should be very slight though – i.e. no American flags or stars/stripes.
We want the simplicity of a Web 2.0 logo. We also envision somewhat of a modern 70’s twist to the logo (which is why we chose the current font). A similar font would be great, but is not required. The logo should have a bit of quirkiness to it to make it memorable, but not over the top and complex.
We like the idea of the “V” being a check mark, but are not stuck on that. The logo needs to show visitors instantly that this site is centered around voting.
The logo can be the URL itself. It should not have the “.com” shown by default, but should naturally accommodate it when needed.
The logo should go work on both a white background and blue background.
The “V” in vote and “B” in best should be capitalized.
- Logo available in following formats: AI, PSD, EPS, JPEG.
