New Logo Needed For Start-up Music Company

Aztral Plane Entertainment LLC was formed to create music for use in television, movies, video games and radio. We are a small music production company that creates custom tracks for clients. This logo is for our new website that we are about to launch. http://www.aztralplane.com Feel free to look around the site and listen to a few sample songs on the music page.

We intend to produce music for a wide variety of clients from video game developers to television shows to government agencies to music artist, basically where ever there is a need for music. Music audience may vary from children on up.

This logo will be used as the focal point of our new website (http://www.aztralplane.com). The logo will be centered on the home page (replacing the large "Aztral Plane" text). It will be shown at the top of the forum page. On the other pages it will be "faded" as part of the background so the text will be visible on top.

Note: When viewing the site note that the location of the links will be adjusted to accommodate the logo.

Here's what we need in our new logo:
1. Need an icon that represents what we do.
2. Logo needs to incorporate the company name "Aztral Plane Entertainment", or the initials "APE"
3. I'd like to see the logo incorporate a waveform, sound waves, equalizer, notes (free or on a bar staff), or sliders from a sound board.
4. Use a black background with whites, shades of grey, black, one color (red or blue or orange etc.) or any combination of those colors. The color choice can fade or have effects to it (like fading from orange to white) but dont use multiple colors (for example, one word in red and another in green)
5. Feel free to be creative in your designs and play on the name of the company or its initials.

Logo should scale easily for use on business cards and other promotional material.

I need the original source of the images. I strongly prefer adobe illustrator(ai) format for all images.
