The Lawrence Mentoring Consortium
The Lawrence Mentoring Consortium (LMC) is a five member collaboration of non-profits providing youth mentoring programs to the Greater Lawrence area. Right now there are over 1,000 kids in Lawrence in mentoring relationships, but there are still a significant number of kids on wait lists for mentors. The goal of LMC is to work collectively in Lawrence to promote mentoring and make more quality matches between adults and the hundreds of children on wait lists in the city.
The logo should speak to a wide audience of people. The goal is to create awareness among business, media, and community members in the greater Lawrence (Massachusetts) area. The target audience is 18+ and is focused on:
Adults interested in becoming a mentor
business, community, media leaders interested in collaborating with consortium to help raise awareness and recruit more adult mentors.
We are looking for a logo to represent a collaboration of youth mentoring organizations in Lawrence Massachusetts.
1. The design should somehow reflect the Lawrence Massachusetts community and the idea of an adult mentoring a child.
2. Would like logo to depict youth in a way that speaks to both potential volunteers, but also businesses and corporations that may want to support the consortium in a variety of ways.
3. If possible, The logo should incorporate the url: http://www.massmentors.org/lawrence
4. Open to different colors
5. Need print file and web file formats
