MATCHES THAT MATTER
Logo design and possible follow up work for business cards, signage and letterhead.
Matches That Matter ™ is a premiere social introduction national service for singles based in the United States. Our strategy is to match a group of 6 men and 6 women for dating compatibility and put them on a 3-week series of volunteer projects giving back to their local communities. We also host social, educational and artistic activities spread over three weeks. Multiple, no pressure meetings with a group of eligible singles that were matched by personality, desires and romantic inclinations will allow attraction to organically develop into long term relationships.
WE ARE NOT A DATING SERVICE, NOR ARE WE AN ON-LINE DATING SITE LIKE eHARMONY OR MATCH.COM AS WE HAVE NO PROFILES TO READ, WRITE OR FAKE.
Not only are we matching eligible singles with each other, we’re also matching eligible volunteers with social benefit organizations for a potential long-term relationship of a different sort. Volunteerism is growing at an unprecedented rate in the U.S. and has profound societal benefits.
There will be a tagline (TBD) used with the logo. The tagline will evolve as our service expands into new markets.
The service is focused on youthful and active over forty year-olds. Busy professionals find online dating too time consuming and lacks the privacy and enrichment that they crave. We have members in three different decades and the logo should be appealing to all.
Please Do:
- Convey a sense of style, class and sophistication.
- Logo should be clear, easy to read and understand (don’t be overly clever)
- Appeal to both men and women (OK to slightly emphasize male appeal)
- Use words “Matches That Matter” in the logo any way you wish
- Make the brand name pop!
- Leave a logical space for a tagline
Note that there are no color preferences but the logo should also work in B&W.
Please Do Not:
- Use hearts, Cupids or bow & arrows
- Imply that it’s a dating service
- Be frivolous or silly
- Include number or word “40” as “over-Forty” will be in the tagline.
- Limit us to the over-forty year old market as we plan to expand.
Logo will be used on our website, for business cards, letterhead, event signage and advertising. We have a current “square-ish” shape placeholder logo on our interim website and the new logo should fit and be legible in 223 (w) X 154 (H) pixels. The delivered logo must be created using vectors to keep it scalable.
