Our core target is made of emerging businesses. Companies with great products that need to grow sales. Entrepreneurs in innovative businesses, often technology-focused (across the spectrum of technologies: cleantech, web, mobile, biotech etc)
We embrace the idea that innovation is now the top competitive weapon, and we espouse theories like "Blue Ocean Strategy" (hence our new website ocean lights theme) but transform them to fit the practical reality of our clients.
The logo needs to integrate within the new design of our website at http://www.growthroute.com/NEW/ with no or very limited changes to that website design.
The current logo on that page is a placeholder and a quick amateur attempt: we seek something much better looking, more graphic, more personable and memorable. In that placeholder logo design, we liked the following (in priority order):
- use of a symbol that can stand on its own, possibly within a circle (see the current symbol used under Latest Updates on that page). This symbol can be integrated in the text, for example in the letter O, or on the left of the text (horizontally, not above it)
- color set: although it may lack some accent color (you could use the green that's used for the customers quotes)
- use of transparency for "route"
- all small caps
You are free to keep or change any of the elements above, as you see fit.
We also like the use of light and metallic or 3D effects.
The logo must include a symbol that astutely conveys the idea of Emergence (for emerging businesses), acceleration, growth, scaling-up, partnership (in order of preference). The simpler it is in concept, the better, although it also needs to look like graphic designer work (unlike the current attempt).
Optionally, we'd also like to be able to easily add market qualifiers to that logo e.g. growthroute cleantech, growthroute mobile, growthroute web apps
