Aloha Kai got their new logo design by running a design contest:
logo for Grand Theft 'Aina
Check out Aloha Kai's Logo design contest…
This logo is for a grassroots campaign. The logo will go on a website only. The website is designed to educate the public about a government agency that is selling public land in a way that is not good. The government agency is selling the land without transparency. They are doing it "behind closed doors" and the public is angry about it. This website will explain to people what is going on and how they can fix the problem. The word "'aina" is a Hawaiian word for "land" so "grand theft 'aina" means that our land is being stolen. The logo should communicate that our land is being stolen.
