BNK Petroleum - A distinguished leader in resource recovery
BNK is a california-based energy company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and production of large oil and gas reserves around the world. The Company's mission is to promote the responsible development of oil and gas natural resources meaning efficient exploration and production in a manner consistent with the protection of public healthy, safety, reduction of waste, protection of mineral owner rights, and of course the prevention and mitigation of adverse environmental impact. We want our logo to reflect a company that favors this kind of approach to mineral exploration and production. BNK is dedicated to becoming a distinguished leader in the world of resource recovery while the world looks for alternative energy sources down the road.
This logo or the context it will be used in will be targeted at institutional investors who we are looking to partner with us to fund our projects around the world for mineral exploration and production. It should allow us to stand out from the crowd of more traditional resource companies. Institutional investors are sophisticated investors who look for long term investments that will provide sustainable and profitable growth for their own firms and their own shareholders. The logo will be used on our corporate web-site, letterhead, business cards, and in our corporate offices on signage.
Our initial thought is that the logo would be a word mark, however, we are open word marks which also incorporate some other imagery that evokes a sustainable approach to energy recovery. The logo must incorporate the BNK Petroleum name so that it can be identified as standalone item. As for colour scheme. we will leave it to you all to come up with a scheme that evokes a sense of resource recovery which takes into consideration human and environmental impacts. We are not attaching any existing branding as we would like fresh ideas and out-side of box thinking / creativity. The logo should be versatile and usable on the web, on letterhead, on business cards, and on signage. Please note, we should acknowledge the fact that we are an oil and gas company so the logo should also represent us as up front and authentic. We do not wish to fall prey to the "Greenwashing" band wagon.
