ArkCoss translated my requirements in the brief just perfectly and all of his concepts were really compelling, with an artful composition and layout. How Peter.maruff started their logo design journey
Velocity Mobile is a software company that develops enterprise mobile applications for the iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices. Our focus is on small, medium and large business customers ... not individuals. Our tagline is "Mobile Applications for you, your customers and your community".
We sprung out of Velocity Solutions, a regional IT services provider headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Manila, Singapore and Bangkok. Our management team is Australian and Canadian. Our technical staff are typically overseas educated Chinese and Filipino developers.
We're not the biggest company around but we have a good customer base that we work hard to provide a high level of service.
Our mobile app business, Velocity Mobile, is a new business and we want to start fresh from a marketing and brand perspective.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target market will initially be the smaller companies who are looking for mobile applications to better serve their own customers.
Our prospects will be too small to get the big names (Accenture, IBM, HP etc.) interested. They will be happy to deal with a smaller, more-attentive, developer like ourselves at Velocity Mobile.
We need a company logo.
Something "business-orientated" as we will be primarily dealing with SME businesses but also with a edgy/hip flavour to it to reflect our passion and creativity. Simplicity or a Zen quality is also good. Corporate but not corporate (boy, did I really say that?).
Colour-wise, anything but blue would be good.
Something that reflects the mobility and connectiveness of our mobile applications focus.
