EVERYTHING HAS A PLACE,LLC (http://www.everythinghasaplace.com)
I am a home relocation manager. I move people from A to B. I organize them; downsize them.... get the moved.... and set them up at the other end. And... about a 1000 other details inbetween. Go to my website: http://www.everythinghasaplace.com. This will tell you a lot about the company and what we stand for. We've been in business for 3 years and now I'm giving the website a face lift. Its with the web guy now, so I need to introduce a new logo to go with it.
I am high energy... and this business is growing like crazy. My crew of 10 is also high energy and very diverse with lots of skills to help our clients make a smooth transition.
Check out the other businesses across the country and their logo's on NASMM.org.
Boomers, and their parents. This is a Boomer driven industry. I thought it was Seniors, but they don't buy services like mine. Its the Seniors kids, Boomers, because they are also downsizing and moving... and they are the sandwich generation, and they still have jobs and kids to put through college and they feel guilty that they can't help their parents, because they live to far away... so they are looking for me. They do not know what a Move Manager/Home Relocation Manager is... (I'll bet you don't either)... so they think they need an organizer.
I like the Olive and Eggplant colors that my existing logo has already. I have shirts and hats and signs in those colors... so in transitioning between the logos I would at least like to keep the same colors.
The words: Everything Has A Place, organize, transition, stage
are important to let people see, at a glance, what I do.... but I am open to having a symbol that could be used with the name and without the name.
I am not a mover. I am a move manager. The word move, in any form cannot be in the logo. The State of New York can not see me as a mover in any way. Then my insurance goes up with the meer mention of the word, "move" (good ol NY)
Make sure the logo is easy to transfer onto shirts, signs, etc.
