chat 8 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Check out chat 8's Logo design contest…
I'd like the word "games" underneath (or at least to see that option)
Games & Recreational
Online games for adults (so it's NOT for kids). Should have a white background. The logo should communicate: games, fun, excitement, fun for your brain (the site has brain teasers and mysteries to solve). It can be whimsical, different, unusual. It should be fun to look at (the logo) - something that someone would see and they'd think "Oh that looks interesting, what is that?" The colors can be anything right now - probably more bright, but I'm open to anything. It will be used on the online website when it's finished. It's called Challenge Hut because it's a House of Challenges (but house was taken for domains, so it's a hut). Here is a page out of the website. I did it (so NOT professional) but it might give you an idea of the personality of the site: http://challengehut.com/seattle.html Fun, whimsical, playful, exciting...
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions:
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
chat 8 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
