Brazil is a huge country, with manufacturers and potential buyers spread all over the nation. Our audience comprises the Sales Teams of small and midsized Brazilian manufacturers who need to advertise their products, and the Sourcing/Purchases Team of small and midsize buyers in Brazil who need to acquire products/raw material for the best price and quality. Accordingly, we have two types of users: buyers and sellers.
Sellers are mostly manufacturers of products (someone from the sales dept. of the manufacturer). Sellers care about a web ad service that will display their products as broadly and effective as possible in Brazil. In experiencing our website they care about a nice layout, a simple/friendly registration process and efficient advertising tools for their products.
Buyers are mostly small and medium retailers or individuals, searching for a specific product to buy in large quantities. Buyers want an efficient search tool, with large variety of products and a simple/friendly way of contacting manufacturers.
Both buyers and sellers want a reliable tool; therefore we must show credibility, be catchy and fun.
The target audience should realize that we are the largest wholesale marketplace in Brazil. We want buyers to know that they will find everything they look for, and sellers to know that they will have thousands of potential buyers searching for their products.
I need a logo for a B2B portal with a similar business model to Alibaba.com, to be operated in Brazil.
Basically we allow manufacturers to register their company and list their products on Atacarama. Products include industrial goods, raw material, agricultural products, and any other merchandise without limitation. Buyers will use Atacarama to search for such products. Through Atacarama they will be able to contact the manufacturers/producers directly to purchase or inquiry about their products.
The word ATACARAMA means "wholesale of the future" where “ataca” means “wholesale” and “rama” means “future”.
The business can also be viewed as an online trade show where all industries have their virtual stand.

Style preference: Something creative, that reminds a shopping cart or a factory, for example. Something fun and catchy but credible at the same time. Colors can remind the Brazilian flag (green, yellow and blue). Letters and symbols/drawings can be used.
