The name of the brand is "alaya", which is an excerpt from the word "ATALAYA" (Watchtower in spanish).
When we started the process of defining the name we looked for the origin of the insurances. It lead us to the Phoenician culture, the navy merchants used to make a pull of money to help themselves when the ships had an accident and they lose commodities.
We also found King HAMMURABI who made the "HAMMURABI Code" One of the earliest written laws.
When exploring more the topic, the Watchtower (ATALAYA) came up. These structures were used to make surveillance, identify potential risk and do sometingh about it.
What we want the logo to convey is security, confidence, simplicity, attention, protection, professionalism.
It is worth seeing some of the logos of insurers like; Metlife, sura, GNP, mapfre, etc. Which have abstract and simple logos. The challenge is to see how we can do something that helps us to differentiate ourselves, one of the source we have considered is "Future" but we are open to new proposals.
