Through the entire creative process, sakitperut has implemented our basic requirements into his own ideas. With our many new requirements through the contest, sakitperut was always the first designer who immediately understood our wishes and uploaded new versions & ideas. Apart from the incredible creativity, we want to emphasize the professionally communication, which has helped us through the whole contest.
A big thanks to sakitperut!!! We are looking forward to our next project with you!
- Scott Edwards
Scott was a gem to work with. He was patient though many iterations and always quickly accomplished what I asked for. His sense of aesthetic matched very well to our brand. Highly recommended.
Beautiful work, thank you for the revisions!
Saget. stayed true to the brief while bringing new ideas forward. Responsive to feedback and quick to reply, Saget. was a pleasure to work with.

How Inspired by Cities started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Inspired by Cities
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a boutique consulting firm that specializes in empowering and inspiring city planners, elected officials, business leaders, and other movers and shakers in city leadership to make better cities. We help government agencies and non-profits organize hands-on study tours to world-class cities in Denmark and the Netherlands to experience global best practices in transportation and city design first-hand, and help city leaders strategize on how to make changes to cities back home. Specialities are bicycling/transportation, public spaces, and quality of urban life. We're all about making cities better places for people.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Neutrals, high contrast
I'm open to submissions that are b & w only, or with color. All submissions need to work as both and work on both light and dark backgrounds at a variety of scales.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The logo should be modern, simple, professional, and evoke design, leadership, and innovation. The primary audiences are city governments, philanthropy, and non-profits. It should convey seriousness and credibility, but also positivity, inspiration, and optimism. Please no literal representations of cities, travel, Northern Europe, or bikes (abstract references ok). I'd like to see some strong word mark submissions, but I'm open to other ideas that are more logo-y!
The attached file is the result of a branding exercise. It's not meant to express any preference about look and feel, just to provide more background about the core equities and mission of Inspired by Cities.
