How eknow started their logo design journey
eknow is a searchable library of your competitors digital marketing communications. I.E. You can see what creatives your competitors have used and use that information to change your digital marketing messages.
eknow is sold as a subscription service similar to online apps like Basecamp. It's a relatively modest price of $99 per month, therefore the design should reflect this as I don’t want it to be too corporate.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience is digital marketing managers – these people tend to be a bit cooler than traditional marketing people. They all have iPhones and use all the latest web technologies to run their lives – it would be great to tap into this and get the aesthetics to match what people would expect a leading web app’s logo to look like.
- Work on white or colored background
- Fun, vibrant without being childish yet still looking like a professional business you would want to work with
- Free of any cliché’s like envelopes, @ symbols or mouse pointers
- I don’t like logos which have a reflection
Ideally I would want an icon followed by the word eknow so both can be used independently and be recognised.
I may put a tagline under the logo.
Colours – You may use anything you like as long as the logo still matches the brief.
