ERSI (Employer Risk Services Inc.) Part of Succeed Management Solutions
We’re an established, industry-leading software company in Oregon who produce insurance and risk management products. We take complex, high-liability issues and make them easier to manage. Our portfolio includes Fortune 500 organizations through to small companies nationwide, and the winning design will be used with our biggest clients and prospects.
We’re launching a new wing of the company to provide the full service to clients, ie. we’ll come in and take care of everything for you, rather than just sell you a software product.
We're a very open, communicative company. We understand the design process and will be providing feedback throughout. There's a likelihood of more work for designers that do well - we value good people.
We work with large Insurers and Brokers, as well as direct clients of all sizes and types, including major corporations, city councils, industrial / manufacturing companies and retailers. The logo needs to be relevant to the likes of Nike as well as a the 10-employee family business.
The people seeing the logo will be the decision-makers in these organizations, CEO's, MDs, etc. We need them to be impressed, to see that we're an authoritative company who will take care of them.
The logo needs to based around the acronym ERSI, (we’re open to caps, lower case, or a mixture) with the full name as subtext somehow. Symbols / images would be great, but preferably incorporated into the lettering rather than separate, to avoid it looking too busy. That said, if you can make a logo of acronym, text and symbol without it feeling busy, we’d be happy to be proved wrong. The logo will be placed on a white or pale colored background, and used on the new website and printed marketing materials.
Have fun; but you have to sell me. Make it professional and accessible. We simplify the complex, remove problems / headaches, make things more efficient, save costs etc. The tagline for the parent company is “Partnering to prevent”.
The colors of the company are still being defined. Disregard the current look and color schemes of the parent site as it’s being redesigned. Feel free to suggest color schemes but whichever design we end up with we’ll need the .eps file to potentially edit. As a risk / safety company we tend to stay away from red, orange and yellow, preferring smooth, calming, reassuring colors. Stimulating without a sense of emergency.
We are committed to this process, and to providing recognition for your work. We will be actively providing feedback, and will be happy to credit you on our site.
