It was a pleasure working with Welas asih, he provided me from the start a winning logo.
- Alex Double A
Alex was excellent to work with. He submitted a great concept that addressed the brief, and then intelligently responded to feedback. I would have no hesitation using him again.

What’s your company slogan?
City Hall Innovation Pilots in Sacramento
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
As we build the startup ecosystem within Sacramento, we need to bring that same innovation within City Hall (city government). We have make a commitment to make it “simple and easy” for business and citizens to business with their government, and in the 21st century that means technology.
The City Hall Innovation Pilots (CHIP) program is designed to encourage the best *startups* building government technology to come work with us, in Sacramento, to make the city a world-class digital city.
In fact there are a key focus areas where innovation is critical: transportation, public safety, and permitting for example. Through a collaborative process with city leaders, we can identify those areas and then challenge entrepreneurs to solve them. Their pilots will let us as a city learn what works and what doesn't, and then build upon that learning.
That's what CHIP is designed to do.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues (The city's key color in its style guide, see cityofsacramento.org)
Purple (The color of the local NBA team, the Kings)
Gold (Another city color)
Gray (For the technology bend)
No need to use all of them, but wanted to share some perspective
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE LIGHTBULB IMAGERY FROM THE RAILS LOGO.
Would like to subtlely nod towards the computer "chip" reference.
This one will need to be a bit more inline with the city look and feel (cityofsacramento.org) but still distinct. It's being run by the Mayor's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, so we have some leeway.
