City Hall Innovation Pilots in Sacramento
As we build the startup ecosystem within Sacramento, we need to bring that same innovation within City Hall (city government). We have make a commitment to make it “simple and easy” for business and citizens to business with their government, and in the 21st century that means technology. The City Hall Innovation Pilots (CHIP) program is designed to encourage the best *startups* building government technology to come work with us, in Sacramento, to make the city a world-class digital city. In fact there are a key focus areas where innovation is critical: transportation, public safety, and permitting for example. Through a collaborative process with city leaders, we can identify those areas and then challenge entrepreneurs to solve them. Their pilots will let us as a city learn what works and what doesn't, and then build upon that learning. That's what CHIP is designed to do.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues (The city's key color in its style guide, see cityofsacramento.org) Purple (The color of the local NBA team, the Kings) Gold (Another city color) Gray (For the technology bend) No need to use all of them, but wanted to share some perspective
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
mofie collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 2 winners!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
