We are a startup pet supply business/boutique with a twist. Most "posh" boutiques cater to pampered pooches. We pamper our pooches too, but in an affordable manner. Ours carries mid to high end pet supplies for dogs, cats and horses (but mostly mid). We focus on natural, holistic and organic treats. Our culture is not stuffy or "park avenue", but rather fun and relaxed without being campy or outlandishly cartoonish.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our market is going to be both an online web store and a brick and morter store front in southcentral Kentucky. Our target customer loves their pet, but needs affordability. We provide mid-range to high end priced toys, treats, beds, and grooming products for their beloved pet. They get the joy of shopping from an upscale shop without bearing the brunt of the price. We have a warm, personable, fun business personality focused on the well being of the animal. Our treats are wholesome, organic and natural, while our toys and other items are sturdy and safe.
What we want:
A clean logo that makes the shopper feel welcomed and cared for. Crisp, simple, clean lines in the characters and not overly outlandish, campy or cartoonish.
Characters that may be included would be a dog, cat, horse or all three!
Color options are wide open, but we are drawn to bright greens (like fresh cut summer grass), sky blues, warm sunshine golds and other soft colors. Think "sunny pasture" thoughts. Up to 3 colors is fine.
Previous example of a logo we had included a horse drawn out of the "n" in Hoof n'Paw. The "n" was the horse's butt and had a tail, with the horse turned around looking to the viewer. It was cute, but you don't have to stick to that.
What we don't want:
A horseshoe with a paw print inside of it. Trust us, it's been done with all the other businesses out there with a similar name. Make us stand out from the herd!
No victorian, gothic, or unhappy or mean looking critters please!
