The reason I chose the word "Busybody" is because even though it connotes someone meddling in someone else's business, that's exactly what these small businesses need because they don't have time to manage their own social media presence and they need someone else to do it for them.
In my logo, I simply want to convey the sense that our job is to spread the word about what's new with their business/product/brand, but I don't want to use something as obvious as a megaphone or anything like that.
When I post a comment on Facebook from my business page, this logo has to be readable and simple, not tiny and illegible.
I live near the ocean just north of Boston and most of my clients will probably be local. It's a well educated community, casual/elegant/preppy/upscale kind of lifestyle. These are small businesses that get tourist traffic in the summer but many will likely need to try to build more business online/mail order too as I help them get the word out via social media and beyond our local community.
The tag line I'll use when describing my business is"
"we're all up in your business... but in a good way!"
But I'll only add a version of the logo with this tag line once I'm ready to make business cards or something like that.
