Ageing Asia Investment Forum
The Ageing Asia Investment Forum (AAIF) is a global business platform that brings together 350 CEOs and government leaders from Asia’s most influential organisations, to capitalise on the economic potential of developing products and services for Asia’s 1.2 billion baby boomer population.
By 2050, the number of people in Asia above 60 years of age is expected to be 1.2 billion, four times higher than Europe and US combined. Ageing in Asia is an unrealised opportunity for the global business community. In Asia-Pacific, baby boomer consumers have an estimated wealth of US$11.3 trillion and control 35% of total wealth. As longevity and active ageing become more prevalent, there will be a greater demand for products and services that fulfil the demands of a more empowered and educated generation of baby boomers in Asia.
This forum will focus on key industries that will support the demands of 1.2 billion seniors in Asia :

We are looking for a logo to represent our event: Ageing Asia Investment Forum. The event is a global business platform to capture
investment and development opportunities driven by Asia’s 1.2 seniors.
Intended Message: Portray the Ageing Asia Investment forum as the premier event for CEOs who are looking to capture development and investment opportunities in ageing Asia
Design Objectives:To create a distinctive logo that can be easily associated with business opportunities in ageing asia, To launch a new brand, to look corporate, play up the fact that its an investment forum
AAIF has three goals. To promote Asia as a development, investment and R&D hub for ageing technologies and products; to enable ageing in place; and to improve quality of life for seniors through active ageing.
Preferred Elements (in the design)
-Logo that represents continuity, freedom, financial independence, positive ageing, empowerment
-Logo has to look neither consumer nor business – neutral
-Logo has to look corporate like
idea 1: play up stereotype images of old age. Eg. Road sign of an old couple holding a cane each – transform it to them doing something active – positive ageing.
