dshift3 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Gamer/Streaming Logo & Branding

Games & Recreational
I'm a gamer and working on getting more serious about my streaming of games. I normally go by the name ChopChopChop in most games (whenever possible), and also happen to be heathen... hence the Viking. So I want to incorporate that into the logo (which will be used for badging, feeds, and watermarks on various websites and videos). Importantly, I'm thinking less horned helmets and more axes. And the more simple the better (in theory), since it won't get in the way of the rest of the content.
Logo types to explore
I'm not married to the idea of using the whole title "Chop the Viking" in the logo itself. Feel free to play with variations (or just reducing it to Chop, or the full name ChopChopChop).

99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 2 winners!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
