We are very pleased with the outcome. The designer presented various design ideas to choose from and incorporated our own ideas and wishes in the final logo. The communication was nice and professional. This is a designer we have to keep in mind for next time for sure :-)
How Lindsaylou started their logo design journey
Portraits by Lindsay Lou
My name is Lindsay and I am a portrait photographer who specializes in child and family photography. I love to photograph people and strive to capture the essence of a family or child through my portraits. I work mainly outdoors and love vibrant colours and natural elements which would both be great in my logo.
I have just launched my new website http://www.portraitsbylindsaylou.com and need a fun, light-hearted logo for my business. I would like it to be colourful and perhaps a play on the two L's in Lindsay Lou.
I cannot wait to see the funky designs that come my way...
Thanks in advance for all of your creativity!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Young, hip/trendy parents who want to document their families and children through natural, candid photographs.
I would like to attract people who want something more creative than your typical studio portrait.
Logo should be able to fit into a square on a whilte background and should incorporate company name - Portraits by Lindsay Lou
Please feel free to be creative as this should be a fun, approachable logo
As a starting point, I actually love the first example logo here; http://99designs.com/logo-design
I think something like this would work well (perhaps with little hearts instead of the birds?...I don't like birds!)
I would like the logo to have an organic feel with flowers/tree along with the text.
