Logo Design Brief Essential Style Consulting Who am I: Mona Rioux Convey why my age and experience with fashion brings such a great value and relatability to my business. One paragraph is enough I am a very young 57 years old, but my maturity, positive upbeat personality and fashion experience gives me an edge over my competitors. I love helping women feel their best and I’m thrilled every time I help a client transform into a more confident and stylish woman. I've always had a passion for fashion! Growing up in a household with 3 older sisters and my mother, who were all fashion crazy, we'd spend hours trying on and swapping clothes. I worked in fashion as a teen in my small town's premier clothing boutique, and I've also worked at a few boutiques here in Calgary. I even had my own home-based clothing business for a few years. About my Company What I do My company name is: Essential Style Consulting My Slogan: Radiate flair & confidence I want my slogan to be part of my logo but with the option of removing it if possible. I have a small home-based business where I provide Style and Colour Consultations as well as Closet Edit and Shopping Services. Eventually I will probably do public speaking on styling and perhaps sell skin care and makeup. I am certified as a Style File Stylist. This system produces an individualized Style File Wallet for the client that contains her most flattering colours and style advice to dress their body type and silhouette. I only style women. All my clients enjoy learning about their personalized Style and are always excited about their Style File. Target Audience 11 things about my target audience and why they would hire me: 1. Female 2. Age 40-75 3. Is looking after herself now that kids are grown/gone 4. Divorced, widowed, single 5. Starting to date again 6. Has gained weight 7. Has never had her colours done 8. Knows she needs help with style 9. Is self-conscious about her looks 10. Is starting a new job-needs a new wardrobe 11. Is retiring/retired
Design dos : 1. Incorporate the letters E&S in the logo with some kind of swirly component to it or in the company name. 2. The Logo must contain: “Essential Style” (company name) and my tag line: “Radiate Flair & Confidence" 3. If possible make the colours look like it's radiating-to mimic the word "radiate" in my slogan (I just feel that's a cool tie-in!) 4. Present any colour combination that inspires you. It can be gold on black or teal and plum as described below or even mixed strands/design of different colours, I like bold colours so please present your best ideas. 5. Try to have some kind of swirl in the letters or logo somewhere to mimic the logo of the company who's system I use. See the Style File logo in the photo above. 6. Calgary is a city with 1.3million in population. I would like the first letters to be some kind of swirly and be the prominent part. But I’m open to colour suggestions that you feel would convey the energy of my business. The brand colours don’t necessarily have to be in the logo, but I’d like to define the full palette to use on my website and other media. Because my target market is only women, the colours should/can be feminine but not too frilly. https://prnt.sc/rbqrvm Because I’m a Style File Stylist, I want to display their logo on my site and their color is like a plum as you can see here. Including plum in my coloring would make it blend well on my website and perhaps business cards etc. Also, I would love if you could mimic the swirl in this Style File Logo in mine so that there’s a visual connection between the two brands.
