We need a creative logo that helps create a proffessional brand for our company to both australian design agencies and corporate clients. It must look good on black or white, and we are looking for a clever use of shape and color for a logo. As we do not have any branding in place, you will in effect be creating the entire branding for our rapidly growing company!

We need a creative logo that helps create a proffessional brand for our company to both australian design agencies and corporate clients. It must look good on black or white, and we also appreciate clever use of shape and color in a logo.

However you may find that you can create a logo just with the name itself which could be quite good.

We are a team of some of Australias best developers, and we create internet applications for companies like the one we are using now! We usually take projects that are so complex that other compainies have turned them down.

The name elab we chose because a science labratory is usually creating complex things, and a labratory also gives the thought of things outside the square being accomplished.

However we are not creative in an artistic sense so thats where you come in! Help us make a brand that will stand out in corporate australia, and will even attract design agencies to work with us. We will also have much more work coming in the pipeline, so the talented designers that submit designs in this competition will be noted for further work.

- Logo should reflect technical creativity
- Something unique (no copies), and full legal rights on the design that chosen to win.
- Logo should work on black and white
- You can try a web 2 approach if you feel it may work
- Complete design to be delivered in illustrator/vector format and a hi res copy as a gif/jpeg on both black and white
