We are experts in producing educational materials to support teachers in their planning and teaching. The result for teachers is that using our products will make their job easier, and will help improve learning by students.
It is most important for you to know that the "Professor" in the business name is the *teacher*, not us. We don't want any impression that we are stuffy academics telling teachers how to do their jobs. Rather, the teacher can become the expert because they have excellent material (ours) to work with.
We are experienced educators with a background in training, software production and the production of a range of useful materials for teachers.
We produce cutting-edge innovative products for teachers: software for interactive whiteboards, training videos and a variety of powerful, practical materials such as worksheets, lesson plans and short articles.
Our target is mostly classroom teachers, heads of department, principals and includes home-schooling parents.
Teachers are busy people who have lots of boring planning to do. We produce materials to make their jobs easier - software, worksheets, lesson plans, short training videos. This helps teachers to plan better lessons, to engage students better in learning and to be more satisfied in their career.
The aim of the business name is to sell the message that the teacher who uses our materials can become the Classroom Professor - a highly respected expert in their own classroom. The teacher needs to feel that we know what we are talking about, that we are worthy of their respect and their attention.
We need a logo that is modern, uncluttered, clean and simple, and is recognisable at almost any size, in both monochrome and full colour versions.
Colours should be from a limited palette. We prefer blues, greens or maroon, possibly with silver or grey. Don't go with bright primary colours; we are trying to attract educated adults, not children. We don't need any cutesy pictures of schools or children - no clipart style pictures that pop up if you search for "teacher". But stylised versions may be just what we want.
We have decided that we don't want a picture of a teacher included. The logo should include, however, a clear, stylised impression which immediately brings to mind an expert, professional teacher. This could be a mortar board or apple, but we are hoping designers will have other ideas to offer.
Thank you for considering this project - we are looking forward to seeing your creative ideas!
Absolutely no clip art or photos, nothing copied from elsewhere, please. Let us know if fonts need licensing.
We will need the file in both web-ready and print-ready forms. Contact us if you have questions.
