I am a marketing consultant and public speaker. I'm a member of the National Speakers Association and my focus is helping business owners grow their business through marketing strategy and working with them privately to hit their goals (which they do). I also write a weekly marketing blog called Robin's Rainmakers. I am re-branding to have a more sophisticated, dynamic , energetic, look. My brand and business have evolved positively since my last logo -- and I want to be sure that is portrayed. I'm traveling the country speaking at conferences about marketing, PR, and branding, and ways to promote your brand. I want a brand/logo that is dynamic, upbeat, professional , and approachable -- plus one that recognizes me as an expert. I speak and teach across the country -- so I want to have a logo that can scale up and down, on multiple formats. I also write for blogs, magazines, teach at universities, entrepreneurial centers -- plus, I am creating online training.
My target audience is seasoned business owners (5 years plus); a mix of men and women 45 - 60 who have been in business for a while and they know they need to shift, get clear, try new tactics and get marketing help, and insight. I write marketing strategy and coach to get the job done -- on the phone, via video, in person and by email. I work with experts, speakers, professionals, and business owners who provide a service -- not techy companies or retailers. The companies have typically 2 - 5 employees, and they do the marketing themselves -- but the reason they're coming to me is that their marketing isn't working, can be much better, or they don't have follow through because they are too busy working IN their business, not ON their business. My goal is to attract clients online and via speaking gigs, as well as through networking. My target audience needs the help, the strategy, the focus, the guiding light. I am an expert with a passion for seeing people succeed. It brings me great joy -- and them too! I am also writing a book, to be published in the fall.
Lastly, I am a fun person in person and on-stage. I have high energy, and make people feel comfortable. My advice is practical, direct, no-nonsense, strategic and focused. I am as much a cheerleader for the client, as a strategist and coach. I am an avid learner too.
My goal next year is to set aside some time each year to travel the world, and helpyoung women achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.
My logo will carry me through the next 5 years and it has to be able to grow with me, as my brand, coaching, speaking, and giving back grows too.
