Mighty Steps for Down Syndrome

Utah Down Syndrome Foundation (UDSF) is an organization that provides hope, outreach, and education to individuals and families with Down syndrome. Our target audience is families who have a child with Down syndrome and the community, This logo is primarily used in our yearly fundraisers which is a walk. The past logo and name of our walks was "Buddy Walk" but we had to pay a large fee to the National Down Syndrome Society each year to use their name and logo that we decided to create our own. The new name is Mighty Steps for Down Syndrome. We just need a logo to go with the name that is inspiring and lets our families and our sponsors know what our event (walk) is.

I like the simple and straight forward design that is also respectful and inspirational. We chose the word Mighty to give the Down syndrome community a sense of empowerment and respect. A Buddy Walk is where family and friends of a child with Down Syndrome create a team in the name of that child like "Ammon's Warriors" etc and they donate money to our foundation and come out and walk to advocate for that child.
