I knew from the moment I saw Shana's illustration style that she would be the designer for me. I needed an illustrator who had the ability to draw sensual lines and likenesses with great style and aplomb. She did all that and so much more. She created a character portrait of me from reference photographs that I absolutely adore and will be tickled to share with the world. It has exactly the right feel to be representative of my podcast, horizontal with Lila. I asked for titillating, charming, warm, playful, and intimate in this design, and that is what I got.
She's responsive to requests and also will share her professional opinion if she believes you are going astray. It felt like a true collaboration. I will recommend her to everyone who will listen.
How Amisha started their logo design journey
A Sweet Intent - A Confectionary
This is a company comprised of 3 sisters who love to create sweet confections. Our recipes come from generations of great cooks, friends, and our own experimentations. The name of our company fits us to a T. Everything we do in our designs is very intentional and very literal. We don't just choose colors on a whim; every color evokes a certain emotion. We bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, breads, sweets. We also do eggless cakes. If we don't do it; we are willing to learn how to do it the right way and deliver an exceptional product. All of our designs thus far have had a wow factor. We've left people raving about how the cake looked and tasted just as good. We also make Indian sweets that leave everyone wanting more. We started out doing this for family & friends and realized we were getting more and more requests for specialized cakes. We've attached some pictures of our creations to inspire you!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are targeting foodies. A foodie is defined as "an informal term for a particular class of aficionado of food and drink." We want our target audience to know that every ingredient in our confections has an intent and a purpose. Need a cake for Valentine's day? Try our Orange Ginger Cake! Why ginger? Ginger is a natural aphrodisiac. In a nutshell, we want our audience to appreciate what they are putting in their mouth.
Color! We come from an Indian background, and if you know anything about Indian culture...we love color! We definitely want you to use one or more of the colors red orange and yellow.
The following is not a requirement, but we thought it was a good idea...having a silhouette of 3 women leaning on the words "A Sweet Intent" as if they were talking to each other. Again, we are open to other ideas...this one is not set in stone.
