Nothing to complain. Even other cometitors copied a lot of elements and styles from his ideas. Will continue with him as soon as I have my new requirements.
This design met the brief very well and conveyed the modern look we were seeking. The designer provided a number of variations to help us to decide on the final logo and responded quickly to requests for amendments.
Erica was great to work with - to be honest several of the designers were quite motivated and tried to get feedback. i enjoyed the process and would use again.
Thank you so much!

The image must absolutely be based on native (to Delaware) species, preferably interacting with each other. One thought was an image of a green Augochloropsis Metallica bee on a spray of goldenrod, perhaps with a purple aster thrown into the mix (or not, depending on whether the colors are complementary). If we could get a human element in there as well (perhaps a silhouette of a city and/or a farm in the background) that would be a bonus. Take a look at logos for similar programs in other states (Maryland uses a heron; Virginia a butterfly; Texas a dragonfly) for parallel ideas - see below.
