Section 1: Background / Overview
Little Parables is a new brand that sells clothing product(s) and accessories for infants and babies. The types of products will include bibs, swaddles, gowns, hats, nursing covers, etc.
This is a new brand, so there is no existing brand identity. The logo will be the first element of the tangible brand identity and will serve as the foundation from which other brand assets are developed.
Meaning of the name Little Parables: Little refers to babies and young children. The items we sell are also little, to fit babies. Parables has a biblical reference to short stories in the bible. The word also has the name pronunciation as pairables, and the items we sell ‘pair’ well together to make sets and outfits.
Section 2: Target Audience
Little Parables will sell to parents of infants and young children, as well as people who buy gifts for new babies and young children such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends.
Gender target: while both male and females will buy from Little Parables, the target audience will be primarily female. The logo should resonate well with women, but should also be inclusive of buying products for baby boys.
Age target: Little Parables will primarily sell to people between the ages of 29 - 65. It is particularly important that the logo and brand resonate well with new mothers and mothers of young children, so the ideal logo should be targeted toward a woman between the ages of 26 - 38.
Geographic target: products will be sold across the US and internationally. The logo should resonate across geographies.
Income target: Little Parables will be a premium brand, but falling within a price point that is not exclusive to the rich. The income bracket for Little Parable customers is expected to be middle to upper middle class.
