Calamvale Medical Centre
We are a general practice (family medicine) group in our 12th year and are looking to rebrand and update our look! 12 doctors, 20 staff in an Australian suburban setting.
Our tag line is "For all family health care"
Our practice population is middle class and family orientated. We cover all aspects of family health and are the longest serving practice in our area with an excellent reputation.
We believe strongly in customer service and delivering the highest quality care and service to all patients.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is our local existing patient base and new patients. Our geographical area is an area of high growth, home owners and middle to upper middle income earners. Many existing and potential new customers have young families - from new borns to high school aged children.
3 new practices have opened locally in the last 2 years, and we wish to maintain our reputation as the practice of choice while continuing to grow our business.
Our culture is one of highest quality service from all staff.
We require a simple, not overly stylized design.
We don't like:
. heart beat / ecg tracing / stethescopes / standard medical signs or clip art images
. pictures of people
. difficult to read fonts
Our nearest competitor and similar name (which causes confusion to customers) see http://www.calamvalefp.com.au, so we our design must be differentiated from this look.

We do like:
. medical colours - ie green/ blues - similar to current business card
. a design that will transfer well to printed materials - eg fax covers, business cards, website, signage etc.
. indicative of what we do - 'for all family health care'
. authorative, strong, caring and competent
. something timeless that will not date
. something that can transfer to other business arms - ie skin clinic, allied health practice
