We are a startup that will be launching our online experts site soon. It will be similar to justanswer.com and liveperson.com, but will enable consumers to connect with experts via video in real time. The experts can be lawyers, mechanics, online advertising experts, doctors, veterinarians, relationship therapists etc. and they will bill consumers on a per minute basis for their advice. It will also serve as a platform by which experts can offer and extend their services using this online medium.
Most users of the site will be adults, 25+ that require advice on something. the split will be 50/50 male/female and we'll most likely target the US market for launch but eventually will be a global service.
We would like the logo to be more web 2.0 like, crisp, friendly, professional, innovative and clean and would like to see some logos with the use of icons. We particularly like the logos of pando.com, mint.com, LinkedIn, Yedda.com, blip.tv and zoominfo.com. Their will also be a small "beta" note incorporated into the logo for the launch. Perhaps a subtle leveraging of the TV/video/chat aspect of the service could prove to be a good design element, but not 100% necessary. We would also like to use colors (preferably 2) like blue, orange, grey, and/or possibly violet if that works. We were thinking of a tag line like "Experts on demand", or "Great advice without the high price" or "Connect with us", so feel free to incorporate that as you see fit or think of a creative tag line yourself.
