How SpeakStaff started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
SpeakStaff.com is a place where blogs and written texts get spoken and presented. We connect publishers to narrators (on a "marketplace") and when the audio files are created, we also present them on our website. Therefore, SpeakStaff is also some kind of magazine for several subjects (Business, Beauty, Travelling, Home & Garden, Car & Bike, etc.) - but not for written but for spoken text.
We have 3 target groups:
Listeners: People wo cannot, or do not want to read (at the moment). They find interesting blog posts and other texts on the internet and can listen to it while jogging, cooking (like audiobooks) on their smartphones.
Publishers/bloggers: People who write and want to have their texts narrated by professional narrators.
Narrators: People who like to earn some money by narrating texts and submitting it to SpeakStaff.com

Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The logo can, but does not need to have something to do with "listening, blogging, marketplace". Just throw in some ideas. It can be abstract, too. Should not be too simple, I like Polygons very much ;-)
Some more ideas: headphones are fine, -> targets listeners
mikrophones are cool -> targets speakers
speech bubbles are clever -> targets speakers, listeners, readers and the content!
Maybe create a mix from all of these...?
UPDATE 20.08.: Also think how the logo would look like as a web favicon, where you only have 32x32 pixels OR as APP Icon on the iPhone (with rounded edges or special app-icon effects)
