How bowersbros started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Atlas is a deployment service, designed to make deploying your software faster and easier than before. The name derives from Greek mythology, with the Titan Atlas, who was burdened the weight of the heavens on his shoulders. We feel this symbolises the heavy lifting that Atlas does for the customer. Our system is simple and intuitive to use, and so our logo should reflect that. It will need to work standalone, with and without the word 'Atlas' next to it.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

It should be recognisable, either in a simplified but suitable variation, or in its whole state as a Favicon, a letterhead, business card embosse and standalone logo.
The logo can be provided as both an image and a word, as long as the image is suitable separately.
We currently have no branding defined, so any font is available for use, as long as it is suitably licencable.
'Atlas' can be written in any way, whether title-case, uppercase or lowercase.
I like the idea that the logo and the word 'Atlas' blend together as one, like it does in 'Locks' above. Perhaps the first 'A' could be an atlas of some sort.
This idea is by no means a favourite, just the first thought I had, and it may or may not win the competition. Be as creative as you like, but stick to the principles above, of simplicity and recognizability.
