Kevin Iamburg got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a modern, flat typographic logo for a web application

Client Instructor is a web application built for web designers & developers, as well as agencies that handle this kind of work. The application allows the user to easily train their clients on how to use their new website or web application. Developers will be able to easily send training materials to their clients and offer support to their clients as well.
Logo types to explore
I've attached a mockup of the website's landing page. It could change, but this is how it currently looks. The logo would be used in the upper left-hand side. I'm considering making the white bar on top taller so that it can better fit a logo. I'm thinking of taking a simple typography based approach. Maybe incorporate an icon of some kind, something that represents the application. I like the oDesk.com logo, it's simple and gets the point across. The logo should use flat colors and not have any gradients, since there aren't gradients anywhere else in the site or application. ** The font used throughout the website is "Lato"
