tucsonwoodcraft got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create the logo for the world's number one woodworking podcast!

We host a podcast about woodworking where we talk with woodworkers and tool makers around the world (mostly U.S., U.K., Australia, & New Zealand). Our target market (avatar) is a 55 year old guy who is about to become an empty nester. He sees retirement on the horizon and wondering what he is going to do with his days. He enjoys DIY around the house and remembers the fun he had woodworking way back in high school. As a change from listening to NPR, he decides to listen to Woodworking World on his daily commute. He enjoys listening about tool makers and other woodworkers from which he draws inspiration and knowledge.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
tucsonwoodcraft collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
