Excellent experience! The breadth of designs was amazing and the responsiveness of the designers was impressive. I would definitely use 99designs again and recommend it to colleagues and friends. As for Aliss_tz design, as I told her, she perfectly captured our mission and essence, we love her design!

The Critica Review
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Critica is an alternative news analysis website that provides holistic commentaries on Canadian print or online publications like The Toronto Star, National Post, the Globe and Mail, and Maclean's. The commentary will focus on identifying biases underlying these articles and attempt to either provide questions that raise factual questions/refutations or arguments overlooked. Target audience is the Canadian news consumer as a credible news analysis source.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Depending on the designs and the reception to them, the designer may be employed to do more specific designs for the company. We don't know specifically what we want, but know when we'll see it. We're looking for a logo that can also bleed into our website and dictate our colour scheme for that. We are drawing heavily from other logos and designs from other news companies that are credible, but also, unique and powerful. IMPORTANT: In the logo, we want to focus heavily on the "Critica" part of the logo and not the "the" or "Review" words...they are to be included, but subtly. Incorporation of the Canadian flag somewhere tiny (like one of our inspirations) would be an added bonus. We're counting on you guys!
