How james_n_morris started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Round Table Games
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is a new board game, card game and war game (miniatures) shop - so everything to do with selling and playing these table top games. From Magic the Gathering cards to Star Wars XWing Miniatures, Warmachine and Ticket to Ride. This is both a retail store and gaming club, hence "round table" refers to sitting around a table socialising and gaming, also the "knights of the round table" theme as many games are fantasy based. Main audience is more mature gamers, university students etc - both sexes. I'm not focussed on younger gamers, I'm building a "luxury" brand where mature folk can enjoy each others company, have a coffee and a boardgame, on solid tables with comfy chairs.
The "Round Table" is the focus point of the store - a large, luxury wooden table where Champions (running demos, promoting gaming) can introduce players to new games. Also tournament winners etc get pride of place access to the Round Table. During quiet times it is a display piece, showing off the latest open box game. I think it should be a key part of the logo.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Games & Recreational

Logo needs to scale as I'll want to have it on store signage right down to posters, website, receipts etc.
