Darkfinger got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a iconic identity for otto: the not so boring wifi calling assistant
Check out Darkfinger's Logo design contest…
otto is the name of a new app which is a wifi calling assistant. otto helps you make and receive calls indoors in public places by automatically connecting you to wifi. the target audience is people with iOS smartphones, and most likely a younger demographic, but definitely "ordinary people" rather than techies. once the app is installed it will sit quietly doing its thing, making wifi connections "behind the scenes" to keep the user better connected especially as cell service often sucks indoor (think: big stores like Target, Home Depot, Walmart, but also lots of small locations like bars and restaurants).
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions:
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Darkfinger collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
