Whatever the choice they make in terms of colors, design, etc…their image is sad, cold, grey…
All the words they use are complicated, uneasy to understand… It only leads to fear about what they do and the way they do it.
You do not understand: consequently, you are afraid, it seems that banks are trying to manipulate you.
dContract, on the contrary, needs to express the idea that everything will be simple and clear.

Banks always express themselves with their technical vocabulary. dContract talk to you with a normal and natural language.

We have to find a warm logo. Something full of confidence. It is not an institution talking to people: it’s people talking to other people. One possible way to express that, can be a kind of handwritten logo. Someone explaining things and helping someonelse. Not a cold grey company only thinking about money and technical services. We bring solutions.
For instance, we propose to people suffering from too high credits to be paid every month, to restructure their credits in only one credit allowing them to pay less each month. We do not sell financial product, but solution to help people.
On the other hand, we are a serious brand. We are close to people, we are a very very sympathetic brand, but this is not just about fun: they should also trust us. Adding something inside the logo which reinforce the seriousness of what we do is key.
Also, having something in the logo which reinforce the fact that we deal with financial product is important. Perhaps the serious part of the logo might come from this “financial” element.
The consumer target is everyday people. They are not very poor but they are not rich. They are the middle class.
