Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are beekeepers that manage small groups of bee hives located in
various neighborhoods and suburbs of Birmingham, AL. Our goal is to
provide ultra-local micro-batch honey to the Birmingham communities
with an emphasis on health, environment, and sustainability. In
addition to honey, our long-term business plan includes lip balm,
soaps, candles, local art, jewelry, bee-friendly plants, educational
materials, beekeeping supplies and honey-themed food and beverages.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
While curves are ok, I am drawn to straight lines. I like the idea of
a Birmingham skyline (which would ideally include visual landmarks
like Vulcan, Sloss Furnaces, and recognizable buildings). I'm curious
about the possibility of creating a skyline built of honeycomb or
Langstroth hive bodies. I love the honeycomb /hexagon shape but am
looking for a creative use - not just a slab of honeycomb. If you use
a bee in your design, please make sure it is a honey bee and not a
bumble bee. I do not want to emphasize the stinger.
