Nikotinus joined the contest a day before it ended with an extremely strong design. I was very impressed with the creativity and how the designer really incorporated what I asked for in a design.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My website, http://www.caveofprogramming.com, sells tutorial videos on computer programming. I'd like a logo which has a friendly feel to it, without being comical. E.g. see the logo I uploaded from smartpassiveincom.com (please ignore the background); this logo is friendly but doesn't look silly :)

Logo types to explore

Although my website content is highly technical, I want to steer clear of a techy logo. My aim is to connect with people who may not be typical computer geeks. The ambience that I want to create with my website (although I'm not saying that this should necessarily be represented in the logo) is one of classical music, subtle masculinity, coffee and calm thoughtfulness. Since the website has "cave" in the name, cave-themed logos are a possiblity. I've even been considering a sort of rocky logo with bits of green plant-like stuff included, but I'm not sure if that would work ...
