CashPayment.com
CashPayment.com enables a cash payment option online. Instead of using a credit card to purchase a good or service online, the end user selects a cash payment option at the online merchant to complete their order, and is told two pieces of information.
1) A unique number associated with their order.
2) The locations of nearby retail stores that accept CashPayment.com payments (e.g., local gas station, convenience store, payment kiosk, etc.)
The user goes to the store and pays the total amount to the clerk. The clerk accepts the money and types the number in the system, which triggers a release from CashPayment.com to the online merchant, to fulfill the user's order.
Some people who use CashPayment.com include:
1) Over 1 billion non-US citizens who are internet savvy, but don't have credit cards accepted by standard US merchants.
2) US-based Immigrants with no credit history not eligible for credit cards
3) People who value privacy and don't want the site in question as a credit card transaction record.
4) Teenagers who want to play online games and have money, but no credit card.
See attachment for examples of potential usage. We need a consistent set of logos that cover the following:
1) CashPayment.com
2) CashPayment
3) Cash
We need the following logo combinations that are consistent with each other that cover the following formats (sizes are approximate - see attachment for examples):
"CashPayment.com"
1) For our web site home page, tradeshow banners, etc.
"CashPayment"
1) Larger (scalable) versions of the logo for web site and larger areas
2) 92x16 button version (like a PayPal checkout button in attachment)
3) 40x27 dark background versions of logo
4) 40x27 light background versions of logo
"Cash" Logo
1) 40x27 light background of the word "Cash"
2) 40x27 dark background of the word "Cash"
Logo considerations:
-CashPayment is a service in which users will trust their money. Logo should help reinforce that trust, but at the same time be fresh and exciting.
Must combine:
-A look that is consistent with credit card options on web sites (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.) yet stands out (see attached)
-A Web-like presence such as Paypal
-Absolutely no $$ to be used anywhere, that would make the logo seem trite.
-The word “Cash” alone is overused in SPAM and in cheezy offers. The logo should try to offset these images if possible.
Again, please reference the attached powerpoint for examples.
