Need a canary logo for my company

Summary
We're looking for a corporate logo for our website. We already have a placeholder we're pretty happy with, but it's Office Clipart, so that obviously won't do for legal purposes

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Visit http://www.qanary.com and you'll see our placeholder icon in the upper-left. That needs to be replaced...we would definitely like to use the same orange color and size.
Wants
- We like the simplicity of our current logo. It shouldn't be overly ornate, but identifiable as a bird.
- We'd like the format to be Adobe Illustrator please.
Don't want
- Bird integrated with letter Q.
- Alternate colors.
- A logo that can't stand alone without text (but included some text is OK).
- Icons that don't scale down to smaller sizes well.
